Feature writing & JoUrnalism
Travel writing, features, profiles, reportage, case studies, colour pieces …
I’m a general features writer with a specialism in travel and lifestyle. Topics are wide-ranging: from water pollution in the Lake District to the rise of the area’s Michelin-starred scene; and from the entrepreneurship of women in rural India to the joys of walking New Zealand’s Abel Tasman Track.
Current outlets include the Telegraph, Times, Independent, I Paper and German publication, Spotlight. I’ve also written for Condé Nast Traveller, the Guardian, the Mail, Tatler and Country Living, amongst others.
Destinations covered include Europe, New Zealand, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean, but I still retain a huge fondness for the UK.
Some examples:
How to have the ultimate break in Yorkshire. Telegraph, September 2025.
The secret to seeing the Cotswolds without the crowds. Telegraph, August 2025
How to do the Lake District without a car. Times, February 2025.
