The debut novel has yet to be written (a question of time). Meanwhile, I’ve contributed to travel guides, such as DK Eyewitness, and the Sawday’s series of ‘Special Places to Stay’.

I also worked with north-east chef restaurateur Terry Laybourne on ‘Quest for Taste’ - part cookery book, part food polemic - with its foreword by well-known chef and television presenter, Rick Stein.
